Our mission will be accomplished by providing a relaxing, low-stress environment, via local get-togethers and weekend getaways for Veterans. These events will be in a safe environment and with like-minded individuals. Furthermore, there will be the opportunity to connect with other Veterans for encouragement, comaraderie, in addition to
Our mission will be accomplished by providing a relaxing, low-stress environment, via local get-togethers and weekend getaways for Veterans. These events will be in a safe environment and with like-minded individuals. Furthermore, there will be the opportunity to connect with other Veterans for encouragement, comaraderie, in addition to solidifying future support and friendships, with the hopes of preventing Veteran suicide. Not all have seen combat, but all answered the call to serve, and pledged an oath to protect and defend. Now it's our turn, Veteran to Veteran, providing an outlet to help decompress from that obligation.

Rebecca Thevenot felt a need for all honorably discharged Veterans to have access to healing and bonding trips, not just for Combat Veterans. All Veterans served and deserve further camaraderie with other Veterans. We Are Not Forgotten was founded in 2023 to help support that vision.
